Bed and breakfast
The sign indicates that bed and breakfast is available at or near the road.
When you see the sign
The sign indicates that accommodation with breakfast is available at or near the road. You do not need to do anything if you do not intend to use the service; if you are turning off, follow any direction arrow and move into the correct position in good time without obstructing others.
Rules
- Skilt 625 is a service sign indicating that accommodation with breakfast is available at or near the road.
- The sign only provides information and does not require you to stop, turn off or reduce your speed.
- Follow any distance indication, direction arrow or other supplementary information to find the location.
- The sign itself does not give you the right to park; parking must comply with the signs and other rules at the location.
Tips
- Look for a direction arrow or distance indication, as the service may be some distance from the main road.
- Gradually reduce your speed and signal well in advance if you are turning off towards the accommodation.
- Do not brake sharply when you notice the sign; continue driving if you cannot make a safe turn-off.
- Plan the rest of your journey on the understanding that the sign indicates both accommodation and breakfast, not just a place serving food.
Common misconceptions
- Some people think the sign indicates an ordinary restaurant or café, but it shows an offer of accommodation with breakfast.
- Some interpret the sign as requiring them to turn off, even though it is only an information sign.
- Some assume that the accommodation is right next to the sign, but it may be near the road and indicated by an arrow or distance.
