When you see the sign

Rules

  • You must adjust your speed so that you can stop before debris or other obstacles that you could reasonably anticipate.

  • Increase the distance from the vehicle ahead to improve your view and give yourself more time to react.
  • Avoid unnecessary stops by rock faces or in other areas where landslides could reach the road.
  • Take extra care after heavy rain, snowfall, snowmelt or major temperature fluctuations.
